I don't use SimplePractice. Will this course apply to me?
While my client onboarding system can be applied to any EHR that utilizes a client portal system, this course is best suited for therapists who use or plan to use SimplePractice. I have a number of students who have been able to customize this system for various other EHRs, but at this time the course content and video walkthroughs only use SimplePractice.
What is the time commitment of the course?
If you were to sit down at your computer and go through all of the course content, complete the worksheets, AND implement the entire onboarding system in one sitting, my guess is that it would take you around 3 hours. That means that you could completely change your entire client onboarding system in one afternoon.
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you'll have unlimited access to this course for as long as you'd like - across any and all devices you own. Does this system work for group practices?
Yes! If you have a VA/intake coordinator/someone who handles all inquiries, you would simply need to give them clinician-level access in Simple Practice (yes, it costs a little bit more but it's SO worth it), and you would follow my system to a T using your VA's availability calendar. If you do not have an admin handling new client inquiries, this system can easily be modified by ensuring that all of your clinicians update their availability calendars so that prospective clients can schedule consultations directly with the therapist of their choosing. If you as the group practice owner screens all incoming calls, you would simply need to modify the consultation screening form so that you can find the best fit during the consultation call.
